Uncensored AI News is a publication about open models, local inference, model behavior and the policies that shape access to artificial intelligence. We cover what people can actually inspect, run and change—and what a release does not establish.

A focused editorial lens

“Uncensored” is used to describe many different things: fewer refusals, different training choices, a permissive interface or simply downloadable weights. We separate those claims rather than treating the label as a quality score. Openness, privacy, capability and accuracy each need evidence.

Our reporting draws on primary material and distinguishes provider statements from independent research. Guides explain tradeoffs without pretending we tested hardware or benchmarks that we have not tested.

The publication operates under the name Uncensored AI News. Articles use an organizational byline. We do not invent reporters, professional credentials, interview subjects or human review claims. We are not affiliated with the model developers and research organizations we cover.
